Collection, Shipping & Transport

Buyers
Upon the receipt of cleared funds the goods can be collected; any prolonged delay may incur storage fees.

Buyers are responsible for, and advised to insure their purchases from the fall of the hammer.

Horners do not have a specialist packing and shipping department, however Horners will undertake to post small, lightweight, non-fragile, lower value items by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes basic insurance cover provided by Royal Mail. Details of cover and claims procedure should be obtained direct from Royal Mail - tel. 0845 7950950 or www.royalmail.co.uk or by Parcelforce (no insurance cover provided). Purchasers are fully responsible for any claims to be made against any insurers.

Charges for packing & postage (labour & materials) will be made at cost; payment is required prior to despatch. Also buyers must ensure they are able to comply with all export regulations if relevant.

For all other items buyers must instruct their own agents to collect from our saleroom to pack and post. Buyers are advised to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover in all cases as we do not accept any responsibility once goods are removed from our saleroom.
