The fully illustrated catalogue is available on this website about ten days before the sale, also a downloadable text only version is available from which a catalogue can be printed free of charge. Printed catalogues are also available upon request (£4 incl. postage). Bids can be submitted in person, by phone, email or live on the internet via www.the-saleroom.com website.
STOP PRESS: The November 5th auction results online now. This sale was once more an outstanding success with total gross realisations in excess of £87,000 and an amazing 98% sale success leaving just twelve lots unsold, yet further compelling evidence of the growing strength of the collectables market in these uncertain economic times. Horners hold three specialist stamp sales per annum. These sales are overseen by our specialist David Wild who has 30 years full time experience within the collectable auction trade locally. David is happy to advise prospective vendors and give free valuations and advice. David describes and prepares the lots ready for sale, is on hand during auction week to give further information and deal with requests for additional scans. He manages the view day and assists with despatch after the sale. Periodic valuation days held at our Holt office and elsewhere.
